1873

The mill was first mentioned in the files of the village.
1902

Clemens Henning, the great grandfather of today’s owner, bought the grain mill and bakery for the production of traditional coarse rye bread.

1922

Arnold Westerkamp senior took over the mill.

1955

Change from grinding grains to grinding wood flour mostly for flooring/cleaning application => The next generation grew up with the mill.

1983

The management, was handed over to Franz and Arnold Westerkamp – increase wood flour production.

1991

Arnold Westerkamp became sole owner and managing director of the company.

1995

Installation of new grinding line.

2003

AGROMED AUSTRIA GMBH Mr. Helmut Grabherr and Prof. Dr. Dr. Neufeld came with the idea to produce a feed ingredient, lignocellulose.

2005

First certifications DIN EN ISO 9001 and QS, followed by GMP +, PEFC and Kosher.

2006

New drier for raw materials => change from gas to wood chip heating.

2008-10

Increase of production and storage facilities, automatic bagging and palletizing.

2013

Introduction of energy management system DIN EN 50001.

2013-14

Construction of the new production plant II (grinding, pelleting, bagging line, palletizing).

2017

New mills, planning of new raw material storage, new dryer, new storage finished products...
